Lindsay's Winter Wonderland Wedding Makeup

Lindsay contacted me with a short planning period for her December wedding, She had about 2 months. Lucky for Lindsay she was able to get some of the best vendors in the wedding business. Her location for hosting her pre wedding beauty services was Mirbeau Spa. She managed to get the suite, which provided plenty of space for her large bridal party to relax and have their makeup artist service, as well as hair service.
To accommodate such a large bridal party I enlisted my assistant Stephanie to help prep the bridal party and I could concentrate on the beauty and design aspect. Lindsay loved the airbrush makeup and false lashes!
Lindsay booked the amazing photography of Meghan Thomas . Thanks to Meg for the amazing photos!

After the morning prep of hair and makeup, the group headed over to The Lodge at Welsh Allyn. Both ceremony and reception were held in the gorgeous Skaneateles location. So happy I could be a part of Lindsay's day!

Bridal makeup & hair at Syracuse Sheraton

Jackie

Chelsea

Chelsea
Had an amazing shoot at Sheraton Syracuse University Hotel. Models Jackie & Chelsea made beautiful brides wearing gowns from Spybaby's Boutique. I did airbrush makeup on both girls to create  flawless bridal makeup.
Tiffany Dewald worked her hair stylist magic, creating modern bridal hair. Chelsea had an amazing peacock hair piece borrowed from Showoff's Boutique, located in Armory Square, Syracuse, NY. The hair piece is from a local designer.
All of the beauty was captured on film by Kim Cook of Big Paw Photo.

Bridal Shoot for Big Paw Photo

This was such a fun day! Got to work with some of my favorite girls! The dream team of Tiffany doing hair, myself as bridal makeup artist & Kim behind the lens means magic is happening. Two of my favorite models were scheduled with us and it was poetry to watch!

I really enjoyed "staging" a bridal session. I made bouquets both brides with artificial flowers. Had some fun with feathers in the hair, including a peacock hair piece on loan from SHOWOFFS BOUTIQUE, Syracuse.

After the bridal gowns the ladies did a bridal boudoir shoot. All was shot on location at The Sheraton at The University. Alexis did a great job setting up the day for us to use various areas in the beautiful hotel.

Photo Shoot with Morgan Marini

Model Morgan Marini

As a makeup artist I love collaborating ideas with photographers and hair stylists to get the perfect look. This shoot was so fun! Done at The Gear Factory, where Big Paw Photo has a new space, there were tons of interesting places to create some magic. Tiffany Dewald came on board as hair stylist for the shoot. Morgan Marini is the kind of model I love to have in my chair. She is open to anything and enthusiastic about her work. Her skin tone was perfect for the orange lip I wanted to do.

Jen & Kurt"s wedding

Jen is from Arizona and found A-List Artistry while searching for a Syracuse makeup artist on the Internet. She booked me for her wedding makeup artist and asked for a wedding hair stylist as well. I called in Tiffany Dewald. We never met Jen before her wedding day. She did a great job emailing her ideas and images during the planning stages.
Jen's fair skin and garden style wedding called for lighter fresh looking makeup. The amazing detail on the back of her dress called for a beautiful up-do infused with fresh orchids.

Photos are courtesy of Fly Me to The Moon Photography. Jonathan  is a great photographer and so easy to work with!

Tiffany Dewald Syracuse Hair Stylist joins forces with A-List Artistry

I am pleased to announce a new collaboration with Tiffany Dewald, master hair stylist. Tiffany & I have worked together on several projects over the last year and I find her professionalism & style to be outstanding. We spent 5 months working on designing & creating makeup & hair for the METANOIA project with Kelly Bogan. Spending 9 hour days together on a film set lets you see what a person's true personality & work ethic. Tiffany did an amazing job.
Tiffany is one of Syracuse's "in demand" wedding hair stylists as well. We are working together on numerous bridal parties in Syracuse & throughout the Upstate NY area. Choosing a makeup artist & hair stylist that work well together and collaborate can make any wedding day or photo/film shoot a better experience.
Tiffany also shares my love of philanthropy. She was a stylist for the Ophelia's Place fashion show & was on the ARTISTS for AIDS team this year as well.  Look for us to continue that volunteering spirit in future events.
